Cookies
Two small cookies are always set, because without them the site forgets which language you asked for and asks about cookies on every page. Everything else waits for you to say yes. Saying no costs you nothing: every page works identically either way.
- Maintained by hand
- Reflects the services in use today
Always set
These carry no identifier, are read only by this site, and are never shared with anyone.
- cp_locale — remembers whether you are reading the English or the Spanish site. Expires after one year.
- cp_consent — records that you answered the cookie question, and how, so you are not asked twice. Expires after six months.
Set only if you accept
Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us which pages get read and which links get followed. Until you accept, it runs in Google's consent-denied mode: it stores nothing in your browser and receives no identifier for you.
- _ga — tells one browser apart from another. Expires after two years.
- _ga_TDMJS9JHHL — holds the state of your current visit for our Analytics property. Expires after two years.
- Google Tag Manager itself sets no cookies; it is only the container that loads Analytics.
What we do not do
There is no advertising business behind this site, so there is nothing here to sell.
- No advertising, retargeting or profiling cookies, on any page.
- No third-party trackers other than the Analytics tags listed above.
- No cookie wall: rejecting does not hide, delay or degrade any content.
Changing your mind
Use the buttons below. Your choice takes effect immediately and applies to every page. Rejecting after having accepted also tells Analytics to stop, though cookies already written are cleared by your browser's own settings.
