About
About CitePatch
CitePatch is a GEO agent for marketing teams: it measures how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode mention a brand, finds the pages behind each gap, drafts the fix as a reviewable change — a GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket pull request or a CMS draft — and checks afterwards whether it moved the answers.
What CitePatch is
Marketing teams use CitePatch to track how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode describe their brand, compare those answers against an approved record of what is actually true about the product, and turn a missing citation or a contradiction into a small, reviewable content change. Vera, the agent built into the product, proposes those changes from the evidence it collects; a person on the team still has to approve one before it ships.
How it works
- Observe
Runs an approved set of buying questions against the AI assistants your buyers actually use, and records the answers verbatim.
- Explain
Compares each answer to your approved brand facts and the evidence behind it, and names exactly what is missing or wrong.
- Patch
Drafts a small, reviewable content change meant to close that specific gap — a proposal, not a change, until a person approves it.
- Verify
Re-observes the same questions afterward and reports what changed, instead of assuming the patch worked.

Where to find us
CitePatch in one place — the documentation and the public profiles we actually maintain, not a wall of logos.
What we do not claim
The same discipline this page applies to its own facts applies to what the product promises.
- We do not promise a date for an AI assistant to change what it says. A search-grounded answer moves with the index it was read from; a memory-based answer only moves when the model itself is retrained, a decision that belongs to the model's maker, not to us — see the methodology for the full explanation.
- No invented metrics, customer counts, or testimonials, on this page or anywhere on the site: a claim we cannot verify does not get published.
- Nothing publishes to your site on our own initiative. A patch is a proposal until a person on your team approves it.
